These baskets are made of a combination of both twisted seagrass and twisted palm leaf  natural fibres and are completely handwoven by talented artisans in Vietnam.

The producers have been weaving sustainable fibre rugs, mats and baskets for more than 40 years using traditional techniques in a village-based industry that employs artisans from within their traditional community, providing for economic growth and improved lifestyles for previously impoverished villagers.
